01 briefing
The “Eltereforum” is a service, where parents get to meet and exchange, while they can also ask for advise about parenthood. For the launch of their service, they asked Ierace Dechmann + Partners to design their corporate identity. Next to that they wanted an explainer video to inform the public about their activities. As their senior motion designer, it was my task to work on the Art Direction and Storyboarding, as well as the actual production of the explainer video.
02 design
Designwise the colours remained mostly soft and warm in order to maintain an accessible and sensible image. The character design is slightly minimalized, yet realistic. This makes sure the video is mature, but not stuffy or boring.
As for the plot we are following 3 types of families, all of which embody their own specific challenges. By using different personas, we are able to demonstrate the full range of the services provided by the “Eltereforum”.
